Editorial Policy
OnDegrees publishes independent education research designed to help readers compare options and understand tradeoffs. Accuracy, transparency, and usefulness guide our editorial decisions.
Research and sources
Writers should use primary or authoritative sources whenever possible, including official school and program pages, recognized accreditors, government agencies, and original provider terms. Material claims should be attributable and time-sensitive facts should be checked before publication.
Writing and review
Articles must add original explanation, comparison, or analysis. We do not publish copied or lightly rewritten material. Before publication, content is checked for clarity, sourcing, conflicts, unsupported claims, and whether commercial material is clearly distinguished.
Updates and corrections
We review important pages when source information changes. Substantive corrections are made promptly and the updated date should reflect meaningful editorial review, not cosmetic edits. Readers can report errors via our contact page.
Independence
Compensation may affect which commercial products are available for comparison, but it does not permit partners to approve conclusions, ratings, or editorial wording. Sponsored material must be labeled clearly.
